Sonoma Raceway

Home of the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals and the Toyota/Save Mart 350, the Sonoma Raceway hosts top-notch races and track side camping. From beautiful wine country to live music and outdoor movies, Sonoma Raceway offers more than just races and a place to rest your head. There are five campgrounds at Sonoma Raceway, ranging in price and offering spectacular views of Cougar Mountain, the Sonoma Valley or the San Francisco Bay. Whether you arrive in a Tiffin RV or towing a more compact American Teardrop, you’re sure to have an incredible weekend.

Summit Motorsports Park

Located 10 miles south of Lake Erie, Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, offers camping sites for tents and RVs, including some track side. This campground even offers an area reserved for families with children with mandatory quiet hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Pets are welcome too! This race track is popular, which means reserving your campsite well in advance is a must.

Beech Bend Raceway

Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is home of the NHRA Summit ET Series, The Buick GS Nationals and the NMRA All-Ford World Finals. This family-friendly racetrack offers an amusement park and water park located on-site, and a nearby Corvette Museum. The campground is located in a wooded setting and accommodates RV and tent camping. Amenities include WiFi service for a fee, bath houses and a laundromat.

Charlotte Motor Speedway

From full-service RV hook-ups to a grassy area to pitch your tent, the Charlotte Motor Speedway offers a space to meet your needs without breaking the bank. If you don’t have camping equipment, just rent a fully furnished RV on-site. Additional activities like concerts and potluck dinners are offered, and just a few miles from the speedway is endless entertainment like the NASCAR Hall of Fame, shopping, professional sporting events, and amusement parks. Popular races held at the Speedway include the NHRA Carolina Nationals, the first race of the NHRA Mello Yellow Series, and the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, the only four-wide race on the NHRA schedule.

Royal Purple Speedway

Located in Baytown, Texas, the Speedway at Royal Purple Raceway offers track side RV space, paved asphalt spaces and an unlimited number of grass spaces. During the O’Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals weekend in April, the speedway becomes the largest campground in Southeast Texas. This speedway is a favorite of Vogt RV motorhomes, a large RV dealer in Dallas, because of its proximity to the Texas Gulf area. After a weekend of races, you can make the short hour drive over to Galveston Island and soak up the sun on some of Texas’ finest beaches.

Lucas Oil Raceway

Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsberg, Indiana, is the site of the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals, held since 1961. This raceway is historic, and there’s no better place to experience RV camping and racing. Camping packages with race day tickets are available during the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals. Spaces are offered track side or in grassy areas for your tent. Other popular events held at Lucas Oil Raceway include the Summit Racing Series and NHRA Fall Class National Open.
