Smiley Heads to Pomona

Cedarfalls racer Travis Smiley has had an unforgettable year driving his S-10 truck to his first NHRA division 5 Super Pro championship in 2012. Travis surpassed all of his competition winning the title at the race at Topeka, Kansas during the NHRA Summit ET Division 5 event that has held this fall.  Travis now faces the challenge of representing his home track at the NHRA World Finals in Pomona California this coming week. Travis will be competing against 6 other division champion in the Super Pro class to see who will claim champion in the category world championship title! “This was my first win ever” said Travis. “I have been competing for the last 3 years and never imagined that my first win would be at the ET finals”.
