WORK CONTINUES ON GETTING TRACK READY FOR OPENING WEEK - CONCRETE LANES POURED

Work continues on getting Cedar Falls Raceway ready for the 2010 season as concrete was poured this past Saturday on both lanes. Dan Driscoll of Cedar Falls Raceway worked very hard in getting the surface prepared and ready for the pour on Saturday. "Without all the hard work of all the contractors and their willingness to cut costs along with all the work Dan did himself I doubt we could have done this project" said Scott Gardner.

Cedar Falls Raceway is under construction to fix the track lanes from a dip that has developed over the past seasons. The flooding of 2008 also effected the area. To fix the problem, concrete was removed and the sub soil was compacted and refilled to prepare for the new level concrete finish.

Cedar Falls Raceway is scheduled to open on Saturday & Sunday, April 24 and 25 with the Spring Warm-Up & Swap Meet permitting that work is completed. Please watch this website for additional information.
