MAJOR REPAIRS UNDERWAY ON RACE TRACK AT CFR

Contractors descended on Cedar Falls Raceway this past week to begin work on repairing a 100 x 60 foot section of the race track surface. The first task was to break-up the existing asphalt and concrete, followed by the filling and compacting the sub base soil and then finally resurfacing the section. "It's our goal to get this area as smooth and level as possible and provide the racers the best possible race track surface" said Dan Driscoll.

Work is scheduled to be completed with the race track fully prepared for racing on opening weekend, April 24 - 25.
