TRACK BEING READIED FOR OPENING WEEKEND

GRINDING COMPLETED THIS WEEK

The hard work continues at Cedar Falls Raceway in preparation for OPENING WEEKEND, this Saturday and Sunday, April 24 & 25. The concrete slabs were poured and cured and grinding was completed on Monday, April 19. "We are at point now where we will re-install the guardrail and then drag and spray the track" said Dan Driscoll. "The dragging and spraying will be a lengthy project as we want to get the surface seasoned as possible before we race this weekend" continued Driscoll.

Cedar Falls Raceway opens this weekend (April 24 & 25) with the Spring Warm-Up and Swap Meet. Be sure to clean out your garage and basements and brings items out to sell during the opening weekend event. On Sunday, April 25, NHRA will also be present to complete chassis inspections and certifications. Should you need to get your chassis certified (9.99 or quicker), please call the main office at 309-654-2110 for an appointment. As of this writing, time slots remain open but are filling fast.
