BIG DAWGS .. PRO-MOD CLASS SET FOR SUMMER STREET DRAGS SATURDAY, JUNE 19 AT CFR

The wild Pro-Mods, known as the True Street "Big Dawgs" will return to action, Saturday, June 19 at Cedar Falls Raceway. The class is outlaw style with only a minimum weight for the cars with screw blowers only. Qualifying will be on Saturday afternoon, followed by eliminations Saturday evening.

True Street Racing (www.truestreetracing.com) is an organization that hosts races at Midwest venues and will stop at Cedar Falls Raceway on Saturday, June 19.True Street Drag Racing, Inc. is based in Delavan, WI and is quickly becoming the largest heads-up quarter-mile series in the Midwest.

2010 classes consist of: Big Dawgs, Outlaw 10.5, True 10.5, Pro Street Bikes, Nostalgia Pro Street, Drag Radial, Ultimate Street, True Street, Quick Street, Hot Street, Real Street Drag Bikes (10.50), Super Street Drag Bikes (9.50), and Open Comp.

“The Big Dawgs is a new class in 2010 and we are hopeful that we will gain some new racers and an additional excitement level to our events” said True Street Director Becky Wardlow.

Big Dawgs General Information
Qualifying Information & Ladder Type, & Tree:
8-car field run, NHRA Pro Ladder, Pro .400 tree, Heads-Up.
1/8 mile run what you brung anything goes, but the screw blower must weigh 2750 lbs.

Permanent Numbers: Permanent numbers are required for competition in this class.
