IT IS TIME ............ THE NIGHT OF FIRE, SATURDAY, JULY 25

The return of the popular "Night of Fire" is this Saturday, July 25 at Cedar Falls Raceway. "Many of the most popular types of feature racers will be attendance for this awesome event" said Scott Gardner. "Included in the line-up are the popular Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars including the Chi-Town Hustler, The Motown Shaker, The Telstar and The Twin-Town Shaker." These Nitro Monsters are expected to run well over 200 mph. Also scheduled to appear is the popular "Shockwave" Jet Semi. "There are only a few Jet Semi's in the Country, continued Gardner, we are lucky to have one for the Night of Fire." 

Not to be out done, there will be the Jet powered entries of the Strip Tease, The Thriller and The Streak. Also scheduled to run is the Blastro Van and the Grocery Getter, Geezer Gassers, Nitro Fueled Altereds, Super Shifters, The Chevy Rebellion Wheelstander, Nitro Nostalgia Top Fuelers including the entry out of Waterloo, Iowa of Dale Suhr (driven by Radar Letchtenberg).

In addition, Benny the Human Bomb makes another appearance (or maybe his final?) as he blows himself up in a car packed with dynamite.

Sportsman racing gets underway at 11 AM with the Night of Fire Feature Show underway at 6 PM. Adults are $25 and includes parking and a pit pass. Kids (6-12) are $5 and under 6 are free.
