BRACKET RACING RULES MODIFICATIONS FOR 2008

After a few days of consideration plus input from bracket racers, CFR management has decided to allow a driver to enter up to 2 classes at most bracket events in 2008, including all points races. "Our concern is and remains that the under financed teams are not put in a minority position" said Dan Driscoll. "However, we felt we would allow this change for 2008 and see what happens" he concluded.

Below are the rules for participation in 2008.

1. You cannot enter two drivers in one vehicle in any CFR points class, or in one bracket class. You may not switch drivers once eliminations have begun. You must finish eliminations with the vehicle you started with.

2. One driver cannot have more than one vehicle in the same points bracket class.  However, it is permitted to enter one car on both sides of an eliminator. In these cases, the entry must conform to the tech rules of each class when it is presented in the lanes.  Delay boxes must be removed from the car in all no-box classes.

3. A driver may also enter with one vehicle up to 2 classes at most races.  However, the vehicle must be legal for each class and the driver is responsible for being on time for the appropriate bracket classes. In addition, the vehicle must have a different number for each class. This will ease any operational issues the track might have.
