BEST START TO POINTS SERIES AT CFR IN YEARS

 Dave Perry started his season with a bang as he took the Pro Class win on both Saturday and Sunday at the Cedar Falls Raceway season bracket race opener this past weekend. Perry from Bondurant, Iowa scored final round wins over Duane Knutson (Sat) and Tyler Risse (Sun) to claim the titles and the bonus money for his double wins.  

 The CFR Points Series and MBA Series kicked off in fine fashion with great weather and impressive car counts. "We were very happy with the car count and the faith the racers have bestowed upon us" said General Manager Dan Driscoll. "We hit bonus pay-outs in several of the classes and were thrilled to pay the extra money out" continued Driscoll.

 On Sunday of the two day race it was the NHRA National Dragster Challenge. John Day (Super Pro), Dave Perry (Pro), Keith Luke (Sportsman) and Gary Engelhart (Trophy Street) claimed NHRA Wally's.

 The next CFR Flaherty Auto & Truck Sales Points Race weekend is June 16-17. Membership in the points series is available through June 16.
