MIDNIGHT MANIA THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, May 5 is the first Midnight Mania event of the season at Cedar Falls Raceway. Midnight Mania (in 2007) is an event that is designed exclusively for street legal cars and bikes. All participants must be street legal with DOT tires and mufflers. "The premise of the events is to get people off the streets for some safe drag racing action at the track" said General Manager Dan Driscoll. 

Gates open at 8 PM Saturday with race action underway at 9 PM till 1 AM. The starting line Christmas Tree will be set to instant green starts (just like the streets), plus there will be a flag girl contest and domestic and import shoot-outs. "We want this to become more than a race, but rather a race and a happening where the young people can come out to the track for a lot of action and fun" continued Driscoll.
