MEET & GREET PLUS AWARDS PRESENTATIONS DATE SET

With the beginning of a new era at Cedar Falls Raceway, the new management will present a Meet and Greet plus the 2006 Awards Presentations on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Janesville Community Center. "We definitely want to honor those who were champions in the 2006 season" said GM Dan Driscoll. "In addition, it will be a great opportunity to meet everyone" he concluded.

The Meet & Greet/Awards Presentations will be on a somewhat different format than the typical race banquets of past seasons. Doors will open at 3 PM for the meet and greet with the semi-informal awards presentations at 4:30 PM. "We really want the chance to talk with the various racers to discuss our vision for the future of CFR" said Scott Gardner. "This format allows us to recognize the award winners as well as take a look ahead."

DIRECTIONS:

The Janesville Community Center is located on the site of the old Riveria Ballroom on old Highway 218 (same Hwy that Cedar Falls Raceway is located on) in Janesville, IA. The Center is a few miles north of the track through Janesville on the north side of town.  

From Cedar Falls, IA you can also take new Highway 218 north, to the north edge of Janesville and across the Cedar River Bridge. Exit first left after crossing the bridge. Proceed south approximately one-quarter mile to the Community Center on your left.

From Waverly take new Highway 218 south, to the north edge of Janesville and exit right. Proceed south approximately one-quarter mile to the Community Center, on the left.
