In the rumble tumble world of auto racing, it is good to have an opportunity to stop and reflect on what life is all about. The Holiday season can be as overwhelming as first round at the World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova, if you let the shopping mayhem get to you. Now, that shopping is completed (or should be) it's an opportunity to reflect on the blessings we all have in our lives.

For me, the glass is half full - not empty. I'm thankful for my family and friends and the opportunities the have came before me. The Lord has provided a lot in my life and I believe expects a lot in results. On the horizon is new opportunities with the Cordova, Eddyville and Cedar Falls race tracks. While changes have and are taking place, the fact remains that life will be better and the sun is only beginning to shine on all of us.

I hope you look around and realize your glass is probably at least half full and are thankful for all the blessings you have in your life.
