The Cedar Falls Raceway Grand Champion and 2008 Gold Card recipient will be determined at the Championship Awards Banquet. "With last Sunday's (Oct 14) rain-out of the final bracket race of the season, we didn't have the opportunity to have the Grand Championship run-off for the Gold Card" said Manager Dan Driscoll.

The Grand Champion will be determined from a drawing of the champions in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Trophy Street classes. The winner will receive a 2008 CFR Gold Card, good for entry at 2008 CFR events and valued at as much as $1,500. The Junior Dragster Champion will receive a Jr Gold Card as well.

An announcement will be made soon as to the date and location of the Championship Awards Banquet.
