This weekend at Cedar Falls Raceway is the final points race events of the season plus a race for a 2008 CFR Gold Card. "We wanted to add additional value by giving the class champions a shot at a gold card" said Manager Dan Driscoll. The Gold Card race on Sunday will be for the class champions of Super Pro, Pro ET, Sportsman and Trophy Street.

Gates open Saturday at 11 AM with time trials at 12 Noon, then on Sunday they open at 9 AM with time trials at 10 AM. Eliminations will begin each day immediately after the completion of time trials. Super Pro will feature $1,000 to win each day plus a possible double win bonus of $250. Also the winners of each class, each day complete in a run-off for an additional $250. The Pro Class features $500 to win (as a minimum) with additional pay-out with larger car counts. In addition, Sportsman, Trophy Street and Junior Dragster classes will be ran.
