HOT ROD DRAG WEEK COMES TO CFR THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 13

The Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week tour comes to Cedar Falls Raceway on Thursday, September 13th. "Hot Rod Drag Week features the quickest and fastest truly street legal cars in the World" said Track Operator Dan Driscoll. The Drag Week tour begins on Monday, September 10 at Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, Illinois and travels as far as northern Wisconsin before arriving at CFR. In total the cars will travel 1500 miles by the time the tour is completed on Friday at Cordova. "This is survival of the fittest" said Primedia Marketing Manager Jenny Schmitz. "It's all about endurance and performance, a combination that takes a lot of effort to achieve" she mentioned.

The racing action at Cedar Falls Raceway on Thursday, September 13 will be from 10 AM till 2 PM. The vehicles will then leave the Cedar Valley area on their last leg of the tour. "They are the real thing as they can't have any support vehicles on this trip and have to rely on their vehicles to make the trip and make race runs at each track" he continued.
