A BUSY WEEKEND AT CFR
POINTS BRACKETS, QUICK 16 & NHRA KING OF THE TRACK
This weekend will be a busy one at Cedar Falls Raceway. Friday night begins the three days of racing with a Fun Night and open racing for everyone. Then, Saturday and Sunday it's Bracket Points Series events along with the NHRA King of the Track program. The NHRA King of the Track program awards a NHRA Wally to the winner of a special runoff made up of the winners in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Trophy Street classes. In addition on Sunday, the Flaherty Auto & Truck Center Quick 16 will be contested. "We expect a good deal of cars" said Race Director JJ Koehler. "Its my understanding that several new cars from Minnesota will also be in attendance" he continued.
Gates Open Friday at 5:30 PM with racing throughout the evening. Gates re-open on Saturday at 2 PM with time trials at 3 PM and eliminations to follow. On Sunday, gates re-open at 8 AM.
